And the August Art Kits....

This month a lot of passion went into creating all of the kits...not that I always don't put my heart and soul into all of Bad Girls Kits, but this month is really special....proabably because by nature I am in love with home...I truly enjoy being at home and enjoying my family....so with that feel in mind, I added a lot of home spun feeling to all of the kits this month....take a peek!!!!

Girls....I have a confession....listen up....and PLEASE take me seriously....this kit is...well....I think....just may be my all time FAVORITE!!!! Take a look at the antique bobbin in this photo....it is well over 100 years old....and the bonus??? So is the woolen thread on it!!!! All ORIGINAL....All AUTHENTIC!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!! And no worries...if you're like me adn you like to collect lots of colours, we have lots more in the art kits this month!!!! ....you wait girls....lots of treats coming your way....and the technique this month??? too die for....I cant spill too much right now...*tee hee*

July happenings at Bad Girls!!!

Where did the month go???? Good grief...I swear....I was holed up in my studio with gesso and glitter flying everywhere and I lost track of time...*tee hee*....truth be told...my house is always sparkly....and my wonderful Peter has come to accept that this is the normalacy to be expected when you are married to an artist...ahhhh...bless his soul...shhhhhhhh...don't tell him, but many a time I catch a glint of sparkle on him too....rofl....what he doesn't know wont hurt him, right??? *snort*

OH....that brings me to remember what he said the other day....first of all he knows that if he says ANYTHING negative I always tell him he is hindering my creative muse....*hehehehehe*...well, I was creating at the breakfast room table...I create there a lot, because I like to be around my family...and he walks over and he looks at the floor and I could tell he wanted to complain..and he barely eeeked out a couple of words...."Look at this floor.." and he caught himself...I could tell he did a double take...then I said..."ohhhh....yeah..." and he said..."its really sparkly...it looks awesome"....LOLOLOL...ok..come on girlies...we know darn well he DID NOT mean that!!! But seriously...it did look cool...imagine...Maple Wood floors with a sprinkling of gold glitter...OMG!!! HOLD ON....have to call Bruce Wood Floors...they might take me up on this idea...lol...Anyway...moral of the story...my family??? They are wonderful and they love and support this crazy artist. LOve you guys!!!! And thanks for embracing a sparkly house!

OH WOW.....I kind of went off on a tangent there...lol...its the Diet Coke....I will not take responsibility....nope....I have been hi-jacked....lol.....gosh forbid you ever meet me in person.....hehehheheh

So...just what the heck does Bad Girls have going on? Well.....we are in the midst of shipping off all of our kits...I am running a couple days behind due to the weekend and my son had hockey games Fri, Sat, Sun...whew! My kids keep me busy lately with sports!...

Hmmm....what next???We also have a couple of really AMAZING CLASSES that you are not going to want to miss....

And first I want to explain a little about my goal with BAD GIRLS CLASSES...these classes are really meant to take learning on-line to a whole new level. The quality is nothing short of amazing and these classes will always be put together with the utmost of attention to detail. The teachers who teach are truly experts in their fields and highly educated in what they teach. I am sure once you experience a BAD GIRL CLASS you will agree that we have indeed set the bar very high. Our main goal is to bring the learning experience to you in the comfort of your own home with plenty of time to access the classroom and study at your own pace. I thought about how many of us would like to actually go to school to learn some of these artistic techniques, but with hectic schedules and busy work and family lives, we come up short of ever being able to go back to school...so why not learn from the education that we have studied for years??? Ahhhh.....I really liked that idea....So...please know that when you enter in our CLASSROOMS you will have a very high quality learning experience! I hope to see you in our classrooms soon! By the way...all classes do indeed have a start and finish date where the teacher is present in "real time", but there after the classroom stays up for a month for your full access 24/7. Even after the class is over the teacher will still check in to answer all of your questions!

Jeni Boisvert is going to be teaching you how to create for less with all the bits and pieces you have around your scraproom...she is going to take felt to a whole NEW LEVEL....so...you wanna be able to create some goodies for Halloween and Christmas...and of course your everyday lovelies too??? THis is the class for you!!!! Make sure you SIGN UP NOW...this class starts TODAY!!!! You KNOW you want to learn all about SWAYNK!!!

  

We also have Jennifer Matott teaching a very cool class on altering you photos in very unique, funky, and amazing ways!!!!! So, if you have ever looked at those really cool photos that look all grungy and crackled and uber kewl...you don't want to miss her NEW CLASS that teaches how to get these looks with ease! And I certainly want to reiterate that you will be learning LOTS of techniques in "LIFE ENHANCED"...so come prepared to learn a whole lot!

 

OH GOSH....Guess what this month is??? Yep! It's BAD GIRLS 2nd BIRTHDAY!!!! Please stay tuned to the Message Board for more info about what we are going to be doing to celebrate this oh.so.joyous occasion....but I have to let you know that all orders placed during the month of July will recieve our Limited Edition BAD GIRL PRINCESS PARTY FAVOR filled with sweet treats!
