Sophia aka SophiaA. A Bad Girl all the way from Durban, South Africa! Sophia has been a member at Bad Girls since November of 2007 and we are always happy to see her posting at the site! She wowed us this week with her ADORABLE headband that she created for her adorable daughter! Check out the smile on this kid. She is one happy lil diva, you can tell!
Married to a wonderful hubby, Murray for 7 years and a very proud Mom to 2 princesses Amy (5) & Chloe (1). I live in a city called Durban, along the coastline in South Africa. I have been scrapping since 2001, ever since Scrapbooking started in South Africa. I would say my style is clean and sometimes funky, depending on my mood. I tend to focus a lot on the photos and the décor comes after.
After seeing Week 9’s project, and what is a Mom to do with 2 girls in the house, but have fun. Kara’s project inspired me to go a little beyond the page, more like extreme to see what my creativity would bring out and voila, a beautiful girly, girl headband for my girls…just in time for Easter.
I have attended all conferences and international conferences in South Africa that has been Scrapbook related and have met some amazing people like the likes of: Becky Higgins, Faye Morrow Bell, Tracy White, Rebecca Sower, Karen Foster, Heidi Swapp, Donna Downey Stacy Julian, Karen Burniston and lots more... My work has been featured in our local magazines here. I was a finalist in a competition here, where the winner got an all expenses trip to the US to attend a CKU. Apart from hosting our own Scrapathons; I have assisted as a helper at the "Scrapbook Trading Co" International conference in 2005 and 2006. I even have a video of a LO on the Making Memories Blog too.
I love scouting around Bad Girl’s site to see where my next inspiration might take me, thanks Ladies for an AWESOME site and always pushing me to the limits in my creativity, I love playing along with all of you…
