I really am making a freakin' post...can you believe it??? And it's all because of Rachel...yep...good ol' Doodlebug. She's one of my BAD GIRLS...what???? You don't know what a BAD GIRL is??? **GASP** Well...to make a long story short, Rachel had a bone to pick with me....read all about this HERE....LOL. And I ultimately decided that I need to document a little bit about the BAD GIRL outside of my usual BAD domain. I admit, the last year of my life has been dominated mostly by work, but that has been good. I have created a company that I can be proud of. But, I do make it a point to have some me time....so I thought I would share a pic of me and two of my girlz...

Here we were in Palm Springs for our daughters National Cheer Competition last month. Before we took this picture we had been shopping in downtown. I bought the hat at Marci's (the brunette to my left) insistency. I LOVE me some hats girls! OK....so after we went hat shopping we went to pick up our husbands at the cigar shop down the street. We got there and there were these totally drunk Marines who were getting ready to deploy in two days. All of a sudden he lays across our laps and tells his partners to start shooting photos. Those pics are with Marci...I am going to have to coerce her into giving me a copy. Then they proceeded to give Marci a cigar and she started smoking it. *shock* She is braver than me...I told her he$$ no...I am not puffing that thing...I will literally get sick. I mean come on girls...I might be BAD....but I aint that bad...LOL...I draw the darn line at cigar smoking...even if my husband says it's sexy...too darn bad!!! LOL...OK...so fast forward to the hotel lobby when we got back...notice the cigar I am holding is merely a prop...it is NOT lit....I just wanted to look sexy...whaddaya think girls??? Playboy material or what????? Or maybe my girl Leslie is....my gosh....look at her...OOOHHHH  LA LA...heheheheh....I will have to post a pic of my girlie purchases I made later. You're going to love them! :)

but these kind of gifts are my favorites!!! Angelena put this right next to my computer to surprise me...isn't it adorable??? It's a little miniature Build-A-Bear...and it appropriately says Diva....LOL. I just get so warm and fuzzy inside when my kids give me little gifts like this...they really are the best! What is the last gift your child gave to you??? Didn't it make you feel soooooooo SPECIAL??? Awww...I just LOVE being a Mom!!! :)

I LOVE the beach!!!

And I love taking pictures there too! So...Peter and I were able to take a nice calming drive to the beach this past Sunday and boy did we have a nice relaxing time. I got into taking some scenic pictures. I usually want to take photos of people, but I decided this day to focus on my surroundings for once. I really want to create an album with these photos..I got a lot of good ones! Here are just a few of my favs!

I was out doing one of my favorite things...shopping...LOL...and look at what I found! Gain some inspiration from these!!! I love them! :)

I should have bought a pair then, but you know how it is..."I can make those make myself...I have tons of fabric, lots of ribbon" uh-huh...sure! I haven't made them yet. And I don't think $42.00 is too bad for some purrrty slippers like this! ;)

For the love of mini albums....

I just can't tell you how much I adore creating mini albums.....and this one that I created with the BAD GIRLS July Project kit that I appropriately called "Beach Beauty" is no exception. I even made its own little box to go with it...do you notice that cute white starfish I topped it off!!! I adore it~!! And I know you probably don't notice but each flower center is actually a little shaker box filled with silver glass beads! I used lots of Maya Road products, which I freakin' LOVE!!!! What I've been doing lately.....

I have been so busy with the grand opening of BAD GIRLS. It really has been so much FUN and I have enjoyed creating some really cool projects. These LO's I created using the "Vintage Summer" and "Sunset Love" kits. "Vintage Summer" is sold out, but we do have a few of the "Sunset Love" kits left. In the midst of it all.....

I am literally going a mile a minute trying like the dickens to get BAD GIRLS up on time. So....as I was working I remembered I had another deadline...have to get my swap in the mail!!! I am so greatful to be a part of this swap with a bunch of awesome CHEERful girls!!!!!!!!!!! They really do RAWK...don't know what I would do without them....and I just want to give all of them a big ((((HUG)))))) Thanks girlies for the swap...I just know I am going to love my new bookmark...and I am going to shove it right in the last 2/3rds of "The Fiery Cross" where it will probably stay FOREVAH!!!! When will I finish this book??? *sigh* Anywho...here is a pic of the two I made...hope you like them!!! :)

Addicted to ribbon....

And in a really BAD way!!!!!!! So...I found this little store and OMG!!! There was literally aisles and aisles of ribbon!!! I really don't know if it was a good thing...I had band aids on my checkbook when I left...LOL :)

OK....this was just truly inspiring to me today....check it out.

I went out to eat at Pick Up Stix about a week ago...I ALWAYS have to open up my fortune ASAP, but this time I shoved it in my purse only to forget about it until today...

So I opened it up and I thought hmmmm....it must be fate....I have a couple of things going on in my life right now that fit into this little fortune of mine.

One is my Bad Girls endeavor....REALLY IMPORTANT to me!!!! And I know that fortune is absolutely correct...

My other situation is a personal one that I have been contemplating for a long time...reading this today totally made me smile!

So...do I believe in fortunes??? Or do I believe in fate???? :)
